We all know the frustrations which stem from our bench seats not standing up on their own when not installed in the van. Either you lay your nice seats on the ground to get scratched up and torn or you lean them up against your shelves/tools boxes and can't get to your stuff without moving them. These brackets allow you're benches to stand on their own and even function as additional seating in the game room or man cave. Option 1: Economy option for those who don't plan to use their seats while not installed but don't want them on the ground or blocking other stuff. The bench wont be level side-to-side with only 1x leg but it won't fall over either.

Note: In order to reduce cost to you and enable user customization these kits are shipped without 2x4" legs (it costs more to ship a 28" piece of 2x4 than to buy a whole 8' board at your local hardware store).
